Reactor Modeling Activities in this area include fuel conversion reactor models and CFD submodels (FG-DVC) and the use of on-line FT-IR data for development of reactor models based on artificial intelligence modeling software methods such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). Examples of the latter applications include modeling a Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) unit and modeling of etch rates in a plasma reactor.
